Hi Samuel,

P and L is a nice idea. I'm just afraid that the new hwloc users will not 
understand the difference.

What about adding the suggested legend:

 "This graphics is using [physical|logical] numbering. See man hwloc for 
details."

at the bottom of the graphics?
