step record thinggy

Hi gang, U might wanna try this, not necessary but for convenience, UTILITY: "LED DISPLAY" set to MEAS. Then, on a longer pattern, (say +4 bars) hit RECORD , select STEP, hit 2xPLAY u can now step record while playing; now the POINTER (position) is highlited on the LCD screen now try using the NO-1/YES+1 buttons, it does not increase the pos from what is shown there, but from the actual played position (u can check on the LED disp) this is very annoying to me, the indicated pos on 'pointer' is only to indicate what is shown on the step grid, so why in gods name does it need to change from the playing pos ???? there's the << & >>  for that & knob 1 does work properly here. & NO-1/YES+1 does work when its not playing so why ?????    btw try the decreasing the value, even more a pain. something for the wishlist ? (but which yammy prolly will never look at, not even from a distance *sigh*)   sometimes tat yammy corp makes such inlogic & un-understandable.....*sigh again* words escape me....   anyway greetz to all out there zool   Info: MAIN ROM Ver=1.12 SUB CPU Ver=1.01
