unfortunately, the rm1x is not made of discrete circuits as the fatman is,
so there's no way to alter its design with a soldering iron. in analogue
gear it would be fairly simple to drive the filter by connecting a jack to
its input, in digital there's simply no way. remember that most of the
synths you see today are software synths (or sequencers, or what else), and
the hardware you see is 'only' an interface for the software. to do what you
ask you would need to rewrite the software and do some internal rewiring.
it's a pita, but it's how synths are made in 1999.
