As a prospective buyer, I still am kind of unsure on the RM1x, I'd like to
check one out at the local music store, but I live in a small town and they
don't know what the hell I'm talking about. I downloaded the PDF manual,
which helped a little, but am still unsure. So before I part with cash, I
though maybe some of you out there could TRULY, FINALLY clear a few things
up for me, please!

1. WHAT IS THE FINAL WORD ON MUTING TRACKS? Is it only a realtime option
and cannot be recorded, and only available pattern mode?

2. IF USING THE 16 STEP X0X-PROGRAMMING, can you only hear that track which
your recording? IOW, you can't enter steps while other parts or tracks are
playing?

3. AS A MAIN SEQUENCER AND CONTROLLER FOR OTHER GEAR, are all 8 knobs
assignable in both A/B modes giving you 16 knobs assigned differently on
different tracks? Say, one track is assigned to a sampler with 16 (8 knobs
x A/B) different knobs, and another track is assigned to an external synth,
controlling totally different knobs.

OR after setting up all 8 knobs, both A/B, you have 16 different
controllers, but they are all the same on all tracks.

I hope this isn't too confusing to understand, but if it is, your now in my
shoes. Thanks.
