We'll see about that- remember Genesis? ;>

Specs not all that impressive?
The specs are plenty-
Sure the PS2 is much more powerful- but it's almost overpowered.
The Dreamcast can push so many testured polygons on to the screen that
you don't really need any more for conventional 3d programming.
What will eventually happen is you'll see curved surfaces on PS2 instead
of polygons on Dreamcast.

No it's not- that's completely untrue.

Faster- as in mhz?
I seem to remember it running at 300mhz-

True- the CPU is completely optimized for what it needs to do.
It does blow everything else out of the water.

Here's the problem- a few months?
I don't think so-
Sony's "official" US release date is Fall-2000.
I'm guessing it will actually be early 2001.
When PS2 comes out, Dreamcast is going to be in it's 3rd generation of
software.
Versus PS2's first gen software.
What does thins mean?
I can buy a Dreamcast in 19 days or I can wait at least a year and a
half for something better.
