Funny you should mention that. I played a lot with the congas and cowbells
(brefore the "Vibes") to try and make that sound. I had part of the sound,
but I was missing the phat bass. I think you are right a sine bass playing
the same notes with a bit of distortion may be in order. I have no idea why
I didn't think of doing two voices at the same time to make the sound....
alas my newbie-ness. I have done it with the drums to get the feeling I
wanted.
Thanks again. I'll let you know if I make something that sounds similar.
