sup yall,
I just got a RM1x a lil over a week ago, and i find the sequencer to kick
some major ass...the internal sounds however is a different story!
So anyways, i tried hooking up my friends PLanet Phatt sound module to my
RM1x and try sequencing some cool riffs & beats...
needless to say it was a pain in the ass to do so. First, let me tell you I
SUCK in midi...i hate having to configure midi devices.
So what I did was hooked the MIDI OUT of the RM1x to the MIDI IN of the
planet phatt. I could then play the Planet Phatt sounds from the RM1x
keyboard and change the presets thru the Voice screen.
Up to here, no problem. Now when i tried recording a pattern, here's when
the problems arise, the rm1x seems to only record in 4/4 when recording
real-time, i've tried changing time-signatures, but the RM1x switches back
to 4/4 and will only record in this mode.
Do I need to change something in the RM1x MIDISETUP screen?
or is it something that i need to modify in the planet phatt midi
paramaters??
I couldn't figure it out last night , and this was driving me maaaad,
i hope i find the answer, cuz life would be a misery if i remain stuck
in 4/4 (especially when i get my A3000!!)
