Ok thanx to all for responding to my previous question about if yall
use external gear to be sequenced by the rm1x. Now that i know that most of
yall use the rm1x in this use, here is my more specific question:

I was wondering if when sequencing a sampler with the Rm1X, the results in
the patterns/songs where as tight as when sequencing internal sounds (i'm
talking about timing, not quality of songs)

somebody told me that when using a sampler (a3000)with the rm1x as its
sequencer, the results weren't as good as when using just the internal
sounds. I wanted to know, precisely if this is true or not, and if it is,
how much of a lag/sloppyness should i excpect??

Of course i'm hoping this person was wrong , since i'd like to compose
complex beat arrangements with a rm1x & sampler, and if the sequencing power
degrades more than when using internal sounds, well this would be
unacceptable ( i would prolly then sell my rm1x and get an mpc2000 which has
a tight sampler/sequencer relation).

By the way that 'Transistors' track on the teklab ftp site is dope, if it
indeed only uses external gear sequenced all by the rm1x, i am then relieved
about my previous concerns!!
