I think it's a really powerful tool.
Don't forget to take a look at the second page where you can change the
velocity, pitch and gate of the delayed notes. In my opinion, it's a lot
more than just a delay.
And about the polyphony issue. I use the midi delay effect with snares and
hi-hats on my A3000. I set my samples as monophonic instruments. When a
snare is trigerred, the previous one is stopped. Only one voice. Who said
midi delay HAD to eat polyphony ?
