My tuppence worth.

I, personally, am buying a Zoom Sampletrack. The reasons, you ask?

1. Cheap!
2. The spec is "good enough" : 32khz, 4mb, 8 part poly, time-stretch, resample etc.

But mostly for one little feature. I got my RM1x so I could play anywhere. In my mini-studio, in the lounge, in the garden, in bed, etc, etc. And the zoom accepts external input which it will just pass straight through. So, in other words, I can sit in the lounge, RM1x in my lap, Zoom alongside, headphones on. I can work without my main mixer, PC, modules etc.

Again though, the Zoom is a phrase sampler whereas the A3000 is a real sampler. Make your choice on that basis first. If I wanted a real sampler I'd get an ESI4000.
