acid has to be the master as it does not accept midi clock. it will sync to
mtc, but the rm1x does not send mtc. acid will send midi clock, which the rm1x
will receive.
click utility twice until you get to midi sync, and set that to midi. then in
acid go to options|preferences and make sure that generate midi clock is set to
your midi driver on your computer. also you need to press shift+f7 or options
generate midi clock to get acid to send clock messages. press play on the rm1x
and then press play in acid.
anyway, my two cents. it works for me. ymmv.
