I use it mainly for gigging, hooked up to these little gems:
Yamaha a3000
Kenton MIDI->CV interface driving a TB-303, a Korg Mono/Poly and a Roland
SH09
Most of the live stuff is in the sampler. Come to think of it - i don't use
the RM1x audio at all, it's not even connected to the mixer.
What I love the most about playing live with the RM1x is the way you are
free to improvise while playing. I always come up with something completely
new every gig. Gate time and pitch bend on ReCycled drum loops is my fave at
the moment. I usually make sure every filter in the sampler is set to the
CutOff/Res controls on the RM1x, so if I feel like tweaking filters i just
do it.
More live stuff is on our web site: http://www.skank.com/puff
