Ya, but look at it like a modular..

people slag the rm1x and compare it to the mcx0x  just because
it happens to have some sounds loaded inside of it.. we all know
the RM1X is a sequencer first, not an all-in-one box like the 505.

Keep a similar outlook to the nord.. just because it has DSP,
doesn't mean it should be compared to anything on the market aside
from other modulars.. (which are generally monotimbrel and
monophonic).

so, yes.. it does have limited polyphony.. but the statemnt should
be "Ohh my god.. it CAN BE polyphonic?!?!"....

You can do some crazy yamaha FM styled patches in the modular..
don't know about the whole formant thing, we've (i.e. the modular list)
have been hot on cracking that (seems to be based upon some kinda
FM osc synch principles).. ohh well...
