Check out the ESI32 as well as the ESI4k. Both have come down in price
recently - quite a bit to tell you the truth. the ESI32 is dirt cheap - seen
it for $300 used. The ESI4k is more expensive, but very powerful. I have
one and love it. Save some more cash and get a full featured sampler - they
are cheaper than ever.
I have to respond to an earlier post where an electronic musician plays with
"real musicians". A reminder not to sell ourselves short. We are "real"
musicians - and we play "real" instruments. Let's not forget that.
