It's an amazing thing, and probably just fluke. But I initially bought my RM1X from
floor stock only because it was going to be weeks before the store had new ones, I got
a good deal..and I was told that it had only hit the sales floor recently so not a lot
of time spent in use.
I returned it 2 days later because I noticed the casing was buckled...irrelevant bable
thus for i know..but I have a point, amongst other side-effects (what I assumed to
be) of a fall it must have taken chicklet # 9 wasn't working too well. That is, you
had to press it hard to get a response.....and god forbid you try to press\depress the
thing quickly.

So I waited, and got a brand new one. Everything working fine...happy camper, say no
more.

Two days ago I switch on the Rm1x, start recording again after a few week absense, and
notice the exact same thing about button 9...it's annoying. Unless you press it hard
you've a 50\50 chance of the pattern change taking effect. A potential disaster if
using the machine live where timing is invariably going to be a factor.

So here's the thing, just as a matter of interest. Are you all finding that it's
key#9, or just a different key. Because there could be a pattern, excuse the pun.
