In US dollars, here are the following costs for the SU700 upgrades (though you might
find them cheaper if you shop around;):

2 32MB RAM SIMMS (72pin EDO, 60ns)=2x~$85=$170
Yamaha AIEB1 I/O board=$199.95
Yamaha ASIB1 SCSI board=$199.95

All together, to max out your SU700, about another $600 US after taxes, etc. Also
have to consider a Zip100 or other drive for saving to (to get your use out of that
$200 SCSI board).
Plus blank ZIP disks/other media for appropriate drive and cabling for SCSI and
digital connections. Unless you can get off a little bit cheaper (by raiding your PCs
RAM like I did). This is, if you have a 2 1/2 year or older PC that still uses SIMMS
instead of DIMMS (longer, 132+ pin RAM chips). Sucks that SIMMS are not used much
anymore (at least not in new computers), but yet DIMMS are cheaper than SIMMS. I can
get a 64MB DIMM in my area for the same or about the same price as a 32MB SIMM. Sux.
