Im getting the same problem, but only on my master keyboard (which just
happens to be an SY99, big brother to the TG). Everytime the pattern loops
the tracks which i have faded out jump back up to their original level, ive
gotten around this by quickly muting the tracks but its still a pain.
midi chain:(hopefully my Assy Ascii wont get messed up)

I use the Peavey to do alot of multichannel fades. I think the issue is the
sy gets the Volume CC's from the peavey but the RM1x doesnt ( no soft thru
on the SY). and for some odd reason the RM1x resends volume Info at the
start of every pattern. Annoying but not unworkable.

Subject: RM1X & MIDI volume question
Hi!
This is a followup to my question posted about a week ago.
RM1X is playing a track on external module (TG77). I can adjust the
volume with "track volume" parameter on RM1X, but as soon as I press
"stop", the volume jumps back to maximum (the sound has a long release,
so this is heard clearly). Yesterday I investigated the phenomenon and
have found that
- it only happens in Pattern mode (in Song mode it's OK)
- it only happens when JUMP parameter is set.
In other words, the volume is reset when the pattern is rewound to the
beginning.
What's up here? There's no MIDI volume event at the beginning of the
track, and Event Chase is OFF.
Any ideas? I'm really puzzled...
regards,
Boris.
