I've been trying to convince myself otherwise but I know it is true too! The rm1x has lots of features but it kills my ability to write (at least quickly) too. The styles, phrases and all that bullshit sucks. The interface is crap too. Lots of buttons but none for the shit I really need(quantize) - I hate the job menu. I hate the pattern-chain mode. I hate yamaha. Yes, I've said it. I'm selling my FS1R too! I'm curious what you are going to use now? I'm looking at an MPC2000 since it appears to be the closest to the MMT8 feel that I'm used to.
