Hi! Does anyone out there have any experience using the new Roland MC307 groovebox to sequence a sampler via MIDI (in particular, the new Yamaha A4000 sampler?)? I've noticed how a number of samplers now feature intuitive looping capabilities, etc. But the thing is, what's the use of having a sampler that can loop remix and loop divide if you're still running it on a sequencer that measures bpms in whole values, i.e. '101...102...' instead of increments of one-tenth of a whole value, i.e. '101...101.1...101.2...etc'? I have an E-Synth rack and I'd like to think that I could just save money by not buying a more 'groove-oriented' sequencer (e.g. an RM1X), but is it even possible to get the true benefits of a nice looped sample if you're sequencing on a non-groove sequencer?
