Scott, A Microsoft technician is a handy guy to know...I'm a senior systems
analyst for a major US retailer (Intl. Support, NT WAN.) What kind of sound
card/midi interface do you use? I'm using a MOTU 2048/24I and a yam UX USB
Midi Interface. The MOTU's great but the ASIO (Cubase oriented) drivers tend
to screw up in LAW but only after I load ES1....General Protection Fault in
unknown module.....Load MME 2 and things seem to work a little cleaner;
haven't loaded ES1 this way though....to many registry issues after original
install crashes.
btw...friend of mine at the local music store just dropped off a korg
ms2000r for me to try out....so far it's pretty impressive, I thought it
would just be an expensive er-1....but it's pretty sweet.
Curious about locations of other rm1x user's and club reccomendations. I'll
be in Taipei, Hong Kong, Sao Palo, Baltimore, Dallas, Toronto, Atlanta, and
Chicago before year-end. Live in Lawrence, Kansas about an hour out of KC.
Thanks, rjd
