Power management doesn't work to well yet...
--- Every time I have tried to suspend, it locks up dead, needing a
soft-reset.
-- I usually reboot back to windows and leave it on the charger when
I'm not using it.
With the kernel I use, the AUTO DIM does work... The LCD backlight
eats most of the power, trouble is the
1 minute setting takes like 10minutes to finally kick in...-- it's
just a timer issue I think.

on my 2750 the screen on/off didnt work under linux and the batteries became
as warm as when running some cpu-intensive game under winCE as if the kernel
didnt halt the cpu and ran in a while(1); loop when idle for the few minutes
I tried it.
if that's the case the battery wouldn't last for 4 hours and I didnt dare try
it :P
also I didnt have any battery status.
