Note that I've changed the current version so that RR uses
a file (/var/log/messages) rather than a circular buffer.
This allows for the _whole_ syslog to be archived, however,
also means that logread doesn't work.
To read the logs on the command line within RR (ie. via ssh)
just use:

# less /var/log/messages

Hi all,

RR now has a logging function particularly for those who don't have
a serial port. It should work, and is available in the latest version.
(ie. now:)

To access the COMPLETE log for the system, use ssh to login to the RR
handheld, and use:

# logread

or

# logread | more

or, for great fun:

# logread -f

There are also two new menu items under information:
 - SHOW SYSLOG
 - SAVE SYSLOG

AND (but wait, there's more!)
when the extraction process is complete, a compressed syslog
is put on the card (see custom.txt).

This now means that problem reports for RR can/should have syslogs
as attachments to give me a better chance of solving problems.

Marcus.
