Hi,

Further to messages from Moritz Karbach and others,

With regard to the ACX100 on the hx4700, mine still doesn't work. It
was okay (-ish) on 2.6.15-hh1, but not working on -hh2, in spite of
others assuring me that it does work (usually!). I'm using the firmware
files from the SDG 20060615-gpe dir.

This is what I see on bootup, in the dmesg log:

---
acx: this driver is still EXPERIMENTAL
acx: reading README file and/or Craig's HOWTO is recommended ...
...
running on little-endian CPU
PCI module v0.3.35 initialized, waiting for cards to probe...
acx: found ACX100-based wireless network card
initial debug setting is 0x000A
using IRQ 46
acx: eCPU didn't indicate radio typereset_dev() FAILED
acx-mem: probe of acx-mem.0 failed with error -5

hx4700-acx seems to be loaded first, followed by acx.

Confirmed on my hx4700: the hx4700-acx module uses 100% CPU when one
attempts to unload it.

Cheers,

Lex.
