If so, try to remove it. No - I've never used a screen protector and have relied on the flimsy plastic cover to keep the unit free of dust. > I know many people had hardware troubles with touchpad, and they had to > repair it in HP service. But I didn't heard of any hx4700's touchscreen > hardware problems so far. I haven't heard of any either, so that's why I'm not sure if it's an OS thing or a hardware problem. Sometimes Windows can be quite sluggish, for no reason: it's as if it's doing something in the background and this slows the touchscreen's response. I was expecting this sluggishness to go away when Linux is running, but it doesn't, and this is in spite of HP replacing the motherboard. Other factors that I am considering: touchscreen might be slow if the Hx4700 is cold (it can get chilly in the room where I keep it). Cheers, Lex. _______________________________________________ Hx4700-port mailing list [email protected] https://www.handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/hx4700-port
