The kernel on my Hx4700 is 2.6.15-hh2, which should match yours. You need the wireless firmware files (download from SDG Systems) in /lib/firmware: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1996 Mar 2 1995 RADIO0d.BIN -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 964 Mar 2 1995 RADIO11.BIN -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 43876 Mar 2 1995 WLANGEN.BIN The md5sums for the files that I have are: bbd9673a8de1f15c660b80931ce91b25 RADIO0d.BIN a150750ad33c512edc4afee5270b37cb RADIO11.BIN 9716488c2d1cf2e5f97b165be4de18db WLANGEN.BIN After these firmware files have been installed, you'll need to reload the wireless modules. I usually just reset the unit and boot via HaRET again. In addition to the modules and firmware, you'll need to configure the wireless settings in OPIE or GPE. After that, wireless should start on boot - you should see lots of debugging info from the wireless stuff on bootup. I was not able to get WPA/PSK working, so I'm using MAC filtering on the access point. I hope this helps, >From Lex. _______________________________________________ Hx4700-port mailing list [email protected] https://www.handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/hx4700-port
