Some of the guys think that he'd crumble if they roasted him though. Bob said that he likes doing everything uncut the way they do it on the radio show. Howard told Sal that he shouldn't expect Beth not to be upset with him about something like that because it was a rough joke to make about her. Howard talked about how great his kids are in school and how he's relieved about that. Gary said that he heard that Sal's wife cried the entire way home from the airport when she picked him up because of the comment Artie made about her. Howard asked Fred how that all came about. Howard said he thinks that when Scott lost his hair he lost the ability to light him. Howard said he owns the domain HStern. He quoted a line he liked from the roast and said that he thought Jackie sucked. Howard said he knew he was awful back then but they did hire him. Gary talked about the rest of the game and how the Mets really blew it with the bases loaded. He played a clip from ABC News where they reported on Pete walking off before the interview on Wednesday. Artie said he's heard that some people are annoyed by the character. Howard told Sal that he shouldn't expect Beth not to be upset with him about something like that because it was a rough joke to make about her. He said that it was like the Mets fans were punched in the stomach when the Mets lost. Howard said he saw his old buddy Chris Booker over the weekend. Howard started off the show asking how many years he's been doing this stuff. That led to the guys talking about how much Crazy Alice hates Artie these days. He said they've had issues with that studio from the start. He said that would have been his first professional job if he had actually gotten paid. Howard said that both Crazy Alice and Big Foot lost this weekend while Artie and Elliot won. Howard talked about how great his kids are in school and how he's relieved about that. Howard was looking at the pictures of himself next to Nesforatu and how he has to live with the tape of him being shot from head on in that Robin's Boat episode. Artie said he did and he's been blessed with the ability to memorize lines like that. He said there was no Howard there. Sal said he knows that Artie is just joking about that stuff though. He said that Booker's girlfriend is kind of bored down there in Philly but she comes back to Manhattan to visit. Gary said that Carmen was in town last week and they never heard from her.
