Hi all again, I tried but: 1. iasl produces an .hex and .aml file, I've read how to use them online, but not really confident in how to do it; 2. DSDT.dsl has some 20 errors. Not to mention SSDT1 and SSDT2 (and yet it produces hex/aml files: is it safe?!); 3. I have 3 files: DSDT.dsl, SSDT1.dsl and SSDT2.dsl, but I have been reading online only how to compile and then execute (with initrd or by recompiling the kernel) only the DSDT.aml/hex: since what matters for the Nvidia card is on the SSDT1.dsl file, how do I proceed? Pointers to doc are appreciated! Thank you, marco PS I would like to try to upgrade to the latest version of the BIOS (05UU, I think): has someone in the list a way to go back to 03UU, just in case? -- we would like to disturb the vacuum _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~hybrid-graphics-linux Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~hybrid-graphics-linux More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
