Welcome all, I just got my hands on Asus N53SV with hybrid graphics: - Intel Core i7-2630QM - Intel HD Graphics 3000 - nVidia GeForce GT 540M - Linux Mint 10 64-bit
... and realized (just like everyone else) how deep s**t did I step into. Anyway if anyone needs some testing to be done I am eager to help. I just need some easy-to-follow tutorial on how to set up the testing environment and what to test (I have experience as a linux user + tons of experience as a windows developer, but zero experience as a linux developer).
After hours of reading I managed to learn that I won't be able to use nVidia card at this time and I am stuck with Intel. Does anyone know how to enable at least Intel integrated graphics card? Normally Intel cards work out-of-the-box on linux, but in this case it does not.
