For testing catalist, I've blacklisted i915 and drm, and updated
initramfs to avoid the modules here.
As I recall Catalyst 10 release notes explicitly mentioned that
switchable combination Intel/ATI is not supported. But still I tried
both 10.12 and 11.1 yesterday.
With 11.1 I get the same results as you. This result is strange, because
it seems that everything is working fine, no errors in the logs, but
unfortunately with no picture.
