Hi,
Is there a place where I could find the step-by-step instructions to
have mplayer using
nvidia acceleration using windump? Ideally compatible with a bumblebee
or ironhide system.
Cheers

I'll do a write-up when I'm feeling a little less nauseous. This will be
the second time in a few days that I've said this, but I mean it.
If you are aiming for VDPAU through the Nvidia blob and without using
the in-development state tracker for Nouveau, your system is going to
end up in a rather messy configuration because of gl_conf conflicts.
It's much easier to achieve acceleration through Xv NV17 on Nouveau
which at the very least supports MPEG1/2.
At any rate, I'm going to write about two windump methods. The classic
dual-head approach and the through-Bumblebee approach.
