I can't tell about lash but I have a few questions about Mac OS X ... configure checks $PORTAUDIOPATH/pa_unix_oss/libportaudio.so I do have $prefix/lib/libportaudio.dylib $prefix/include/portaudio.h So even if I give the PORTAUDIOPATH, configure will fail to get the right information. Same goes for portmidi.
