I can't reproduce any of your issues. I did test this change quite a bit. This commit did not affect transport slaving.... except in the case where you are turning it on/off in the middle of play. But when I played with doing that... I only ran in to (maybe) some skipped frames (as a one-time event). No runaway transports. No segfaults. When doing tests with Ardour, I did notice that sometimes the 'J.MASTER' button indicates that H2 is the master... when it is not. (I just haven't gotten to trying to fix it...) I also noticed that Ardour's 2.7.1 has a really buggy transport. (When Ardour 2.7.1 is transport master, it won't change locations. What's up with that?) I tested tempo-changes with Hydrogen as master and Hydrogen as slave, and did not run in to any issues. (But as I said, I did not do much switching between master/slave.) Can you give me more details on how to reproduce this?
