I was noticing that I couldn't play audio in other media players (vlc,
mplayer, totem) while hydrogen was open. I tried running with the jack
driver, but got a bunch of errors. But now when I try to run hydrogen with
alsa, I get a segmentation fault. If I run with jack or oss, hydrogen
opens, but there's a "error opening audio driver" message.
I think the segfault might have something to do with auto loading the last
open song, since when I move the ~/.hydrogen directory, it starts up fine.
I get a whole bunch of errors "(E) void*
H2Core::alsaAudioDriver_processCaller(void*) XRUN" when I'm running
hydrogen.
I'm using the 9.4 rc1 from Comix from the forum (

and Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04
