I've been testing the new hydrogen for a while and it runs really smooth (no
xruns, no crashes, ...).. congratulations !
The effects module looks promising :)
The only weird thing is that I need to set the memlock limits to unlimited in
order to get it running, otherwise it crashes. On the other hand it seems not
to be consuming too much memory when running (I need to further investigate).
I've one question about the new FX module. Can I apply an effect to only one
instrument or two (e.g. compression to kick and snare) ?
The FX window gives me the feeling of being independent of the selected
instrument (the one in the mixer with the little blue square on) because when I
load an effect (with a given selected instrument) and after select another
instrument, the FX window remains unaltered (mantains the latest effect loaded).
