Hi Guys,

I'm forwarding an e-mail sent by David Konsumer. He's found a way to
convert Hydrogen drumkits to SoundFonts (SF2, can be used with
fluidsynth). He has also converted these to the Gig format (can be used
by linuxsampler).

The python script for converting H2 drumkits to SF2 are here:

     http://code.google.com/p/hydro2sf2

Please contact him if you would like a copy of the drumkits that he has
already converted.

Peace,
Gabriel

Subject: hydrogen and linuxsampler

I was reading about using linuxsampler with hydrogen here:
http://www.mail-archive.com/hydrogen-devel@lists.sourceforge.net/msg00863.html

I just thought I might share that I have converted all the hydrokits
to SF2 (soundblaster soundfont format, also used in qsynyth) and gig
(format used in linuxsampler)

If you want copies of all the soundfonts, I'd be happy to share.

Here is how I did it:

   * wrote python script to convert hydrogen kit to SF2 - I originally
need this a long time ago, before linuxsampler became my preferred
softsyth
   * used awave studio in windows emulator to convert SF2 to gig

Also, if you know of a way I can share them with others, I'd be happy to.
