Nice mock-up. Thanks.

The mock-up that you made... isn't it a lot like how seq24,
non-sequencer, and freewheeling handle their loops? In fact, it's
just a different face on what H2 already does. (Except for the BPM
thing... but I think wolke has that on his FX branch.)

IIRC, Ableton Live has the vertical columns as a group as well... so that
you can trigger an entire column if you want. Typical example:

         +-------+-------+--------+--------+--------+
         | INTRO | VERSE | CHORUS | BRIDGE | OUTTRO |
--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+--------+
Vocals | | | | VP1 | VP2 |
--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+--------+
Guitar | GL1 | | GL2 | GL3 | GL4 |
--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+--------+
Synth 1 | SEQ1 | SEQ2 | SEQ3 | | SEQ4 |
--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+--------+
Synth 2 | | | SEQ5 | SEQ6 | |
--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+--------+
Drums | DL1 | DL2 | DL3 | DL4 | DL5 |
--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+--------+

You can trigger any pattern/loop individually... or you can trigger
the whole column to start playing.

Isn't this how AL's scenes works?

Peace,
Gabriel
