As far as the animated logo, I was thinking it could be an animated gif that would run once as part of the site, in small size perhaps at the top left corner. The main thing is that I would like that kind of 3d logo to be the one in use for the application. My idea for the site is kinda based on that concept of dark and sleek looks, something that looks sharp and cutting edge. Anyways, it's just my view on the matter, but it's all based on the logo. I will try to put together a draft design for the site and see how you like it.
