1. some actions are confusing.
Ctrl+A is normally select all.
CTRL+X will cut something.
its no good idea to use them for other actions.

2. i create a undo branch.
some of the changes have to included into the undo actions.

actually the undo branch works consistent with all pattern editor functions.
some of your functions needs a complete rewrite to make them undo able.

can we wait some time with patching this. maybe until the undo branch is merged 
to trunk.
so we conserve work.
