Jeremy mentioned some time ago about documenting Hydrogen's XML schemas. With Rosegarden's recent issues and my desire to preserve compatability with Hydrogen, I thought it might be a good time to revisit this.
Does anyone (*cough* Jeremy) want to work with me on this? Qt 4.6 inclues an XML Schema validator. No DTD (yet). No Relax NG. Besides, both XML Schema and Relax NG are better than DTD for XML... especially because you have enforceable data types. I propose we make a W3C XML Schema (or two or three) to cover all of Hydrogen's XML formats and all of Hydrogen's versions. (Exception: we probably shouldn't do the preferences file... or at least not make it a priority.)
