Hi, I tried Hydrogen for the first time (0.9.6-beta1 on Mac OS X 10.8.2) because a friend sent me a song file for it.
I was not able to play his song (he uses 0.9.6 preview release for windows). While looking at the song file I found that the "layer" entries contain "filename" nodes with absolute path names. There are two problems with this: First it establishes a privacy problem because I get information about my friends disk structure, his username and possibly other information (from the path components). Second it simply doesn't work - of course the paths on my system are completely different. Are the files not meant to be exchanged between computers? That would be a real disadvantage for Hydrogen. Btw.: I like that the songs/patterns are stored in text files. This makes it possible to manage them in source code control systems easily.
