Meantime I found this in DEVELOPERS file:
CODING CONVENTIONS

Use the 'linux' indention. (i.e. Tabs) Allow extra space within
parentheses, like this:
while( !done ) {
foo();
}
I agree with that ;-)
BTW. maybe we can use some tool for unify identation and then push to using one coding style (K&R, KNF etc. )

good idea. I received a mail from assembla today that they are shutting down all the trac instances in one month, so this seems to be a good time to reorganize things. I would like to put all the development related stuff on the github wiki and put a link from our homepage/forum to the github wiki.
As Pawel wanted to make his contributions we found out that we never wrote sth. like a coding guideline. This is still lacking, but i'll try to write down something which could make this mess a little bit clearer.
