Hello Chris, first off, it's nice that you're interested in Hydrogen development. Let me notice that Hydrogen is free software and probably the most important things are the development efforts free software distributions. People do not like to come up with these thoughts as they're happy about every contribution and try to not scare away potential developers. I am just being honest here, because the most valuable (and probably less valued) development efforts are bugfixes on free software distributions.
Speaking of git being a decentralized control version system, github somewhat misunderstood the concept of git, as it introduces additional "fork layers" of projects for each user. They're well aware of that, but it leads to confusion for beginners. The usual git way is to clone a remote repository and start working. Github, on the other hand, provides a nice UI way for transferring single commits from one fork to another, so it's really up to you. I suppose github is more comfortable. .Jacob Am 2014-05-07 04:39, schrieb Chris Share: > Hi, > > In the past the projects I've worked have used SVN.
