Hi Sebastian!

So it's "just" a drum player, not a drum machine? Two audio channels
are often not sufficient when it comes to professional usage, but as
long as it can send MIDI to players and soft synths and thereby
trigger their sounds, I guess it can handle pretty much any duty a
(drum) sequencer does in DAW, and that with its wonderful interface
and workflow.

If it's still a drum machine, I would probably use it as I use
Hydrogen now but inside the DAW, mostly as a creative tool, when
sketching drums and when I quickly need to make a usable drum track.
But I also use it for making the drum foundation on real projects,
using most of the stuff that's made in Hydrogen. To have it as a
plugin is a huge advantage my world

Hi Jostein!

actually it was meant to be a drum machine/sampler in the first place. I suppose that the "just a player" aspect will also be integrated, since people will ask for it to integrate their existing songs.

About the multi-outputs: I've started with a stereo output to keep things simple, but a multi-track out (like the jack audio driver) could also be possible (from Hydrogen's view). Currently, i have no idea how that would look like in the lv2 description. I had the impression that the number of ports is fixed. How are other drum plugins handling this problem?

Best regards,
Sebastian
