Hey,
I'm not really into Windows (yet) but there might be something we can do
about it since our focus is explicitly to support older devices and not
just cutting edge technology.
Can you open an issue on Github [1] and provide some further info, like
the error you encountered and the debug log? (If you don't know how to
obtain these, we can also discuss it within the issue).
All the best,
Phil

Thanks a lot for all the work, but must know, Hydrogen 1 beta and
later versions doesn't work on windows XP, some people still using
that OS (its true, that people cant afford a better PC, people from
South America for example, I help them and teach them to make music,
and I always recommend Hydrogen to make drums for their music, always
working with open source as far as can be possible).
These people still not know the new features of H2o. I want to help
them to make better stuffs and expand Hydrogen's horizons.
Hoping this message can help to all.

Hi all,
Following on from the 1.1 release, the 'development' branch has now been
merged back to master.
From now:
* master should be used as a base for development targeted for 1.2
* development for fixes and minor features for 1.1 should use topic
branches based off of releases/1.1
- we should aim to maintain the ability to merge from releases/1.1 ->
master to allow maintenance work to carry-over to master and later
releases.
