Hello everybody, I'm quite new to Computer Assisted Music. I downloaded a soundfont (Crysis) and use it with fluidsynth (through qSynth). I like Hydrogen as it makes it very easy to create a drum track, nevertheless I don't like the sound played by the GMKit. Moreover, Crysis soundfont proposes a lot more drum sound as shown in the General MIDI cheatsheet ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_MIDI#Percussion).
I tried to create new instruments, assigning them an empty sample and the right MIDI code, but reloading my song, all these new instruments are lost... Moreover, I would like that this instrument set would be the default one, for every new song. Do you know to achieve this ? Is Hydrogen intended to be used this way, or is there any other software ? Using MuseScore for drum track is a pain ! Kind regards, Alexis BRENON
