Hi Colin,

thanks for your answer.

I'm using 1.0.0 beta2

seems to be the right issue, unfortunately I'm not prepared to compile a candidate, so i'll wait the next official for Ubuntu, and cannot send a positive feedback in the meantime about the solution :-(

anyway, thanks a lot

Roberto

Hi Robert,

Which version of Hydrogen is it, and are you using the ALSA driver with Hydrogen? (this is quite likely if you don't have JACK)

It's possible that you're running into this issue:

https://github.com/hydrogen-music/hydrogen/issues/881

as the description sounds a lot like how it's occasionally sounded when I've been running Hydrogen using ALSA drivers. That bug is fixed in the new 1.0 release candidate:

https://github.com/hydrogen-music/hydrogen/releases/tag/1.0.0-rc1

Are you able to try that out to see if it fixes the problem?

    HI all

used Hidrogen for a while, and really appreciate. Now installed on a
fresh UBUNTU 20.04 LTS, whitout Jack and other Ubuntu-studio tools:
playing a sequence seems to have some "extrasistoles" and general
    timing
issue, as a drunken drummer.  Is this related to the lack of
    low-latency
kernel?  Any suggestion abiut how to fix with a single
    intervention (not
    full Studio tools)?

    Thanks in advance
