Yes. There are no ubuntu or debian packages for sigar :-(

A debain/ubuntu package for hypetable sure would be nice ...

FYI, we have a summer-school student, Jeremy Schlatter, who
just added hypertable support OpenCog (http://opencog.org)
We're hoping to someday get opencog running in a massively
distributed manner, via hypertable. So far, we can save and
restore a few simple opencog "atoms" and hypergraphs.
