I've created a document HQL Statement Syntax<http://www.hypertable.org/hql/index.html>. This document describes the Hypertable Query Language (HQL). For each command it provides the BNF, describes how it is used, and gives working examples. You can find a link to it on the main hypertable.org documentation page <http://www.hypertable.org/documentation.html>. It's also in the source tree in markdown format under doc/markdown/hql and is displayed with the "help" command in the hypertable CLI.
