Guys, I am evaluating hypertable for a project currently in the research phase. I must say severe kudos to the design team. Incorporating time automatically into the key is a stroke of brilliance.
My main concern is the lack of new releases. From what I can see in the repo a few branches are under active development (maintenance- scheduler being the latest at time of writing). Though no new release for almost 6 months does seem to indicate something abnormal. I apologize profusely for the brattish nature of this email, but I would love to know the release schedule for hypertable. Specifically, the planned path to 1.0. Is there an ETA? Have key members of the team left to pursue other projects and thats the reason for the lack of movement on master? Is a large body of work underway and not yet ready for merging? Many thanks for your time, and again, apologies for the nature of this email, but let me reiterate my respect and admiration for this project. I want it to succeed badly.
