Hi, I am glad to see Hypertable features and especially its query based access method.
In order to use in JEE applications, what are the plans for implementing a JCA connector and JPA support for Hypertable. We expect that the JEE container should be able to provide all the persistence related work, and data should be manipulated in JEE applications in standard way like JPA, when dealing with DBs. EclipseLink 2.4 already supports MongoDB and Oracle NoSQL through JPA. Even there is a separate project Hyperconnector (http://code.google.com/p/hyperconnector/), but it is not JPA way. This will be a great convenience access method for Hypertable and a fast adoption way for integration in Java applications and community.
